Police Telecommunicator
Village of Mundelein has an opening for a full time Telecommunicator to
dispatch Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Service Units, monitor fire
band for mutual aid calls, answer incoming 9-1-1 calls, and radio
communications directed to Police Department. Monitor radio traffic to
keep appraised of field situations.
A
high school degree or equivalent is required. Ability to obtain and
maintain required certifications, including L.E.A.D.S. & EMD. Two
years previous experience desired. Must work rotating shifts, weekends
and holidays. Must remain calm in emergency situations. Employment is
contingent upon successful completion of background investigation and
drug screen. Starting salary $45,139 with excellent benefits.

ASSISTANT FINANCE DIRECTOR
The Village of Mundelein is seeking an
Assistant Finance Director. Undergraduate degree in Finance,
Accounting, required, Masters Degree or CPA desirable. Minimum of 5
years progressively responsible experience in governmental finance;
minimum of two years as a supervisor/manager is required. Strong
computer skills. Thorough knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining
to the administration of municipal finances and current issues with
respect to the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. If you do not
meet the requirements above, your application will not be considered.
Salary range
$70,167 to $96,028 excellent fringe benefit package. Employment is
contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen and background
investigation.
