Looking Beyond the Seat Belt Award (For 2004) The IACP award was given for a July 2004 traffic stop where Officer Wernick stopped a vehicle after he noticed the driver was not wearing a seat belt and during the course of the stop he recovered an illegal handgun and over 30 grams of cannabis resulting in several felonies against the driver. |
