Come join the Mundelein Police Dept. at our Community Policing Booth at the Mundelein Days, July 4th celebration. Various police vehicles are on display at this event. The booth is typically located on the northwest corner of Courtland / Seymour, next to the carnival rides and food vendors. Come out and have your children fingerprinted for FREE.
Informational pamphlets are also available which include drug prevention, Neighborhood Watch, Park Smart, and personal safety.
Previous events have included children photographs with McGruff that contributed to the
police-community partnership perception.
The “Convincer”, a mechanical simulator in which people wear a seat
belt and experience a 7 m.p.h. crash, has also been on display educating the public
on seat belt safety along with “Vince & Larry” the Crash Test Dummies.
