Resource Center

The Village of Mundelein has a Community Resource Center located in the downtown section of Mundelein (115 N. Seymour, telephone number (847) 949-1020).  The Village of Mundelein and the Mundelein Main Street revitalization group have been the catalysts in making this project a reality.  This center houses 30 computer terminals donated by Allstate Insurance Company in Mundelein.  The center employees are both fluent in English and Spanish.

Some of the services offered by Omni include counseling in domestic violence, English as a second language classes, after-school homework programs, traffic safety seminars, a job bank, free school supplies, banking and health information, and prevention programs for at-risk children.  Special clubs, field trips, movie nights, trips to the Zoo, and Boy & Girl Scout programs are also available free of charge.  As a result of the Resource Centers, Mundelein has experienced a 22 percent decrease in crime during recent years.
