The Mundelein Police Department is a drop-off location for the U.S. Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" program. Unwrapped toys, in their original packaging can be donated for distribution to children who are less fortunate by placing the items in the collection bin located in the lower level lobby of the police station, located at 221 N. Lake St.
The collection site operates during the month of November and December, and closes approximately one week prior to Christmas Day to allow the event organizers time to set up for distribution.
