Farmers Market Earns High Praise from Residents

Mundelein Community Connection invites everyone to the Mundelein Farmers Market TODAY from 3-7 p.m. in the Santa Maria del Popolo Church parking lot on Highway 45 - between Courtland and Crystal Streets. Each week about 25-30 vendors are on-hand to sell their goods.

Farmers Market visitors have had positive feedback about their visit to the market.

Here are a few of their comments:

“Last week's peaches were worth the trip! You won't find any peaches in any of the local stores to rival what you get at the Mundelein Farmers Market. Just be prepared to let them sit on your counter for a day or two.”

“I love the fresh veggies and baked breads. Glad you have new vendors like the knife sharpening.”

“We have been going every week to the Farmers Market. Great fruits and veggies and other items. What a nice group of people there also.”

The Farmers Market is a great addition to our community and residents are encouraged to support this endeavor by visiting the market and purchasing goods. Special thanks to Market Manager Gary Gunther and MCC Executive Director Terry Skirba, for all their efforts to organize the Farmers Market. Let’s show our appreciation and support the Farmers Market often this season.
