Mundelein Police Department Alerts Residents to Village’s Door-to-Door Solicitors Policy

The Mundelein Police Department has experienced an increase in “solicitor permits” in the Village, as well as complaints regarding solicitors. Please note: All solicitors are required to be registered with the Village and must display a Village-issued permit at all times.

Residents who are contacted by a solicitor who does not have a permit displayed, uses questionable selling tactics, or does not acknowledge "NO SOLICITOR" postings, please contact the Mundelein Police Department at 847-968-4600.

As a reminder, the Village of Mundelein does not endorse nor work in conjunction with any door to door solicitors. While most companies abide by Village licensing requirements there are those who simply refuse to do so. To this end, please assist us in identifying these solicitors.
