Mundelein Residents…We Need Your Help! Newly Planted Trees Need Water to Survive Hot Temperatures

Over the next two weeks, there is no significant rainfall forecasted. Newly planted trees are under a lot of stress and require sufficient watering. Mundelein’s Arborist, Adam Schmidt, reminds residents that if you’ve had a tree planted recently, or within the last few years, please remember to water your tree twice a week or fill your green gator water bag if you have one. Please continue to water the trees throughout the summer to ensure their longevity and health. The new trees planted throughout Mundelein will not survive the upcoming hot temperatures without sufficient water. Thank you for your cooperation.
