Mundelein American Legion to Host Virtual Memorial Day Ceremony—
Residents Invited to Participate Remotely
In keeping with Governor Pritzker’s shelter-in-place order along with his mandated restrictions limiting the number of people who can gather, American Legion Post 867 Commander Wally Frasier in partnership with the Village of Mundelein, has organized a virtual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Village Hall as a way to honor all of the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. There will be a small number of people participating, allowing the ceremony to remain compliant with social distancing requirements.
This ceremony will be made viewable to the community online at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day-May 25, 2020. The link will be posted on the Village of Mundelein website-www.mundelein.org, and on Mundelein’s Facebook page. An email reminder will be sent out Monday morning prior to the ceremony.
