The main function is to present and promote a positive image of law enforcement and the Mundelein Police Department and to assist them when requested. Provide volunteer help to the Mundelein Police Department when called upon for various police department and village events.
Who We Are and What We Do
The Mundelein Police Academy Alumni Association (MCPAAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together graduates of the Mundelein Citizens Police Academy, the Mundelein Latino Police Academy, and the Mundelein Senior Police Academy, to support the department through volunteerism and fundraising.
With an active membership of approximately 80 members, the MCPAAA can be found at various events in the community. Such activities include the Mundelein Police Department Bike Rodeo, 4th of July parade, Fishing Derby, Special Olympics Fundraising, National Night Out, Turkey Giveaway program, Shop-with-a-Cop Christmas Program and the Annual Mundelein Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association Spaghetti dinner.
The alumni group meets monthly, on the second Thursday of every month from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at the Mundelein Police Department – 221 North Lake Street – Training Room A & B.
Who Can Join?
Membership into the Alumni Association requires an individual to have successfully completed one of the following: Mundelein Citizens Police Academy, Mundelein Latino Police Academy, or the Mundelein Senior Police Academy class.
