MHS Jazz Ensemble to Host Free Concert for 2017-2018

In its first Jazz Concert for the school year, the Mundelein High School Jazz Ensemble will present a free concert on October 19 at 7 p.m. in the Mundelein High School Auditorium. Directed by Andy Sturgeon, the Jazz Ensemble will perform a number of pieces some of which include: Flight of the Foo Birds by Neal Hefti; Laura, arranged by Jim Martin; Here’s That Rainy Day, arranged by Robert Curnow; Inner Urge by Joe Henderson; and Blues for Mr. P, arranged by Jim Martin. Jerald Shelato co-directs the instrumental music program along with Sturgeon.
