Village Acquires New Fire Engine to Serve Community

In an effort to best serve the Mundelein community, the Mundelein Fire Department is pleased to announce the acquisition of a new fire engine to its equipment fleet.

The 2017 Pierce Enforcer replaces a 2003 fire engine. The new fire engine has a 1500 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank, Front bumper mounted pre-connected extrication equipment and Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical capabilities. The purchase price for the vehicle was $505,000. The fire engine will serve the Mundelein community for years to come.
